It all starts with an accident involving an evil henchman, an air to ground missile attack, and a fantastically real burning car. Although most of the special effects in this film are of the fast and loose variety, it’s good to see that someone spent the cash to make that car go up in flames for real…
Soon after that, we are introduced to Dr. Mortimer Banshee, whose cowardly act of desertion begins a feud that lasts for generations. And as Major Aaron West soon learns, Dr Banshee has lived for all those generations sustained only by his secrets, secrets that have also provided him with the funds to organize Near-Future Miami’s answer to Charlie’s Angels. Why pay for henchmen when you can just as easily have henchwomen?
With cloaked and hooded corporate operatives; more good-looking women than you’d find in a strip club; and a cameo appearance by what just might be the Death Star; what Longevity lacks in sophistication, it more than makes up for with map-cap action and sci-fi adventure. – Ian Reclusado
