A young American from New York City accompanies his Indian grandmother on a trip to New Delhi, where he is surprised to feel connections to his heritage. With time, he gets over his discomfort with unfamiliar customs, falls in love with a local girl, and comes to see the city as a microcosm of India, chaotic and beautiful, traditional and complex.
