Recently we met someone who didn’t know about this, so we’re posting it.
Contrary to what TV, certain magazines, and websites illustrate, Hip-Hop is a 3 dimensional culture. Much is often said about the worst of us. The dark stories. But what about a shining, living example of the best of us? Here’s a trailer for a film being made that celebrates one of the greatest talents in hip-hop. Talib Kweli is an activist, artist, father, teacher, and quite possibly, the purest example of hip-hop’s adult conscience. The Black Box Office salutes Video Rahim and Nonstop Movieworks for trying to put this together.
