Sam Jackson done shooting Iron Man 2, Nick Fury still “a talker”

MTV spoke to Sam Jackson at the 20th Anniversary of Spike Lee’s “Do The Right Thing”, where he revealed a couple of things about his current association with the Marvel movies.

    Next Movie Shaft should be a white guy. I hate when they change characters you have read about for literally decades and then say it is more politically correct if he were black, wtf is up with that. Sorry to say this is just pathetic and very disappointing.

  3. For one thing, there's no such person as Nick Fury. So he can be anything. The first time Nick Fury was ever put in a movie, he was portrayed by a white actor. Also, check the picture we chose for this piece. It's from the comics. They've changed Nick in the books (depending, of course, upon which version you read). Nobody is saying it's politically correct to have Nick Fury be Black. Nobody has said that.

    Your "White guy playing Shaft" idea is interesting. You should write it!

    I agree with Frank. Switching from the originally drawn character is just wrong. But shouldn’t be a black/white thing. If Samuel is Nick Fury,….then Shaft should be Asian. And Zorro should be Hindu. Tick-off enough races and everyone will want it to be kept as the ORIGINAL style.
