Asian superstar Jay Chou to play “Kato” in “Green Hornet” remake

“It’s an overwhelming experience to take on a role made famous by Bruce Lee. I won’t try to be Bruce Lee’s Kato — I will try to bring my own interpretation to the part.” – Jay Chou

The movie is set up at Sony and set to be directed by Michael Gondry. This is an interesting move, as Jay is a big star in his own right. Maybe not Bruce Lee level, but he’s well known.
