Thandie Newton, who will next be seen in “2012″, and John Leguizamo, next seen in “Gamer”, are in negotiations to star in the indie thriller “Vanishing on Seventh Street”, directed by Brad Anderson, who co-wrote the screenplay with Anthony Jaswinski.
The story is set in a once-thriving city where shadowy forms cause residents to inexplicably disappear. Five survivors fight to stay alive while grappling with the meaning of existence.
Hayden Christensen, who we can see in the upcoming “Takers” on February 19, has signed on to star in the picture, playing a reporter covering the phenomenon.
This is an independent production, but it’s set to be made in Detroit in mid-October. Another great example of how the movie business is helping to bring the town back!
