I know most people are familiar with Guitar Hero.

As of last month, a new and exciting game made its way into the gaming world titled ‘DJ HERO’.

The game is one of the most popular games out right now. If you ever wondered how to DJ, or wanted to know how does it feel to DJ, try playing this game. It has over 102 original tracks mixed with over 90 different tracks including Eminem and Jay-Z. The game also gives you a clear understanding on how to rock a crowd. The game is similar to Guitar Hero It also has the Colored blobs that travel down the on-screen highway at you, and when they reach the bottom, you need to press the corresponding button to play them. The green line on the highway represents one track, and the blue a second, with effects assigned to the red line. Your job is to hit all the notes to mix these two tracks together. When long sections with arrows inside them appear, you need to hold down the button on the turntable and scratch them out. On medium difficulty you’re called on to use the cross fader to fade tracks in and out of the mix.

It’s one of the best games I’ve played this year and one of the best music games I’ve ever played. Hopefully you’ve saved space for one more plastic instrument in your living room, because you’re going to want to have DJ Hero on hand for your next party.
