The second movie in the Twilight Saga is tops at the movies again this weekend, and a lot of the hit movies are holding their own. Warner’s got a hit with Sandra Bullock in The Blind Side”, and it looks like Disney has another big animated hit on their hands.

Disney’s “The Princess and the Frog” is playing in 2 theaters, in New York and Los Angeles. Each of those theaters brought in $356,000 this weekend for a week total of $1,142,000!
F. Gary Gray‘s “Law Abiding Citizen” has made $71,524,000 to date, a profit of over 20 million dollars. Michael Jackson‘s “This Is It” has now made $71,800,000. Both of these films are playing in less than 600 theaters nationwide, so if you haven’t seen them yet, the opportunity to do so on a large screen is going away. “This Is It” is now the #1 grossing concert film of all time, Sony announced today. The TV rights to “This Is It” have been picked up by MTV Networks, so no doubt we’ll be able to watch it again and again there soon, but also, it will be available on DVD, Blu-Ray, and PSP January 26. With Over 90 Minutes of Never-Before-Seen Bonus Features Including Two Making-of Documentaries. There will also be Blu-ray exclusives Including All-New ‘Smooth Criminal’ and ‘Thriller’ Vignettes.
“The Fourth Kind” is winding down its run as well, bringing in a total so far of $24,619,000, and in case you were wondering, “Paranormal Activity” Is still out there in 725 theaters! The $15,000 film has now made $107,132,000.
There is still no word from The Weinstein Company on “Janky Promoters”, a movie they buried starring Ice Cube, Mike Epps, and Taraji P. Henson.
Speaking of Taraji, she and Terence Howard hosted the 2009 SOul Train Awards that aired on BET and Centric last night.
