“A Walk Through Fort Greene” is a feature-length documentary about the Black arts movement that exploded in the Fort Greene section of Brooklyn, New York from the mid 1980s through the 90s.The film features Spike Lee, Chris Rock, Rosie Perez, Vernon Reid, Carl Hancock Rux, Saul Williams, Lorna Simpson, Alva Rogers, Kevin Powell, Toure, Bill Stephney — to name a few.

  1. Bravo Nelson! A coming of age documentary. I worked in Fort Green in my early twenties and I soaked up all the creativity that influences me to this day.
