Screenwriters Ethan Reiff and Cyrus Voris, who previously wrote the screenplay for Dreamworks Pictures’ animated feature “Kung Fu Panda“, have officially been hired to write the script for “The Karate Kid 2″. The current movie “The Karate Kid”, which starred Jaden Smith, Jackie Chan, and Taraji P. Henson, had a reported $40 million production budget and grossed approximately $300 million this summer.
